The Community Service Committee sets the agenda for the organization’s service to the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh and creates other service opportunities throughout the year. Members of this committee must remain in the know around ULGP events and other events in the community that support the movement.

Health & Wellness Committee

The Health and Wellness Committee is responsible for holding events to educate ULYP members and the community on how to stay healthy, mentally and physically. The committee will also host events to keep members active and engage the community. Members of this committee should have a passion for fitness, health and total wellness.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee oversees the attraction, retention, and increased participation of membership in the organization. This committee is constantly looking to gain new members that understand the movement and is crucial to the growth and future of the chapter. Members of this committee should have a firm understanding of the ULYP movement and enjoy building relationships.

The Professional Development Committee develops programming and provides opportunities to enhance the professional skills, knowledge, and expertise of the membership and community. Members in this committee should have a passion for career development.
Social & Cultural Committee

The Professional Development Committee orchestrates cultural and social events geared towards retaining and recruiting new members while raising money towards ULYP-PGH. Members in this committee should have a passion for expanding our cultural mind and finding new hidden gems around the city.
