For more than a year, Baltimore has been at the epicenter of a renewed focus on social justice activism and urban economic renewal.

On August 3-6, the National Urban League brings to Baltimore the nation’s largest gathering focused social justice and economic opportunity.

Following a long tradition, the conference will include a Presidential Plenary Session, just days after the major party’s official nomination conventions – focused on a vision for a more equitable and inclusive America.

Confirmed speakers and panelists include U.S. Secretary of Education John B. King, Jr., for Thursday’s Town Hall of Education and attorney Benjamin Crump for Friday’s “Save Our Cities” plenary session. Other highlights include the Expo Hall featuring exhibits, entertainment, a Volunteer Zone and Health Zone; a Career & Networking Fair; the Women of Power Awards; and much more.
